(More customer reviews)Over the last two years I purchased six Segate USB2 160-GB. This is my first Seagate USB2 250-GB, now over one month old. They all run cool and silently.So far, no errors detected by Scandisk or Defrag. All CRC compares have been successful.I do not run them through an USB2 hub, but directly from an USB2 port on the motherboard, or from an USB2 port on an USB2 adapter plugged into the motherboard bus.
The 250-GB has a new "multi-funtion" button (instead of the two buttons on the 160-GB) ...Read the manual on how to use this "multi-function" button. My previous six USB2 120-GB from another vendor are all dead, except for one.
