(More customer reviews)I used my G Drive mini for my Time Machine backup roughly six times before it burned up. The unit ran extremely hot from the beginning, new right out of the box. I thought the heat might be due to the fact that the casing is meant to be a heat sink so didn't think too much of it until it stopped working. This is not a very good indication of G Drive's quality control and I am not likely to ever buy another G-Technology product.
