(More customer reviews)The enclosure looks nice, although definitely not as good as shown in the pictures. Installation was very easy. It seems to protect the HD fairly well. I bought two from Amazon. Unfortunately, one of them was broken on arrival. It's not due to bad packing or what so ever, but due to the terrible design. The USB cable is really short. Although it's nice to have it included with the enclosure, often time you will need an extension cord if you don't have a lot of space on your desk. Otherwise you will have to leave it dangling around, which is not good. Worst of all, the USB cable is made of cheap, low quality wires, and the solder joints are just terrible (X 100!!). When you pull the USB cable of out the box, and twist it to connect to your computer. There's a big chance that the wires in the cable are going to touch with each other and short out. This happens to one of my brand new box. For the other one, it's good so far. But I doubt it will last. And be reminded, you cannot use any good USB cable you have, because there's no port for it on the enclosure...
