(More customer reviews)I got the Iomega 34709 as a gift from a friend a couple of months ago. I never thought I would be gifted with a hard drive. Moreover I prefer that I always choose my gadgets..because of the huge list of wants and dont minds! I was a little doubtful if my gift will turn out to be good one. My friend has one for himself. So I hoped it works for me too. Three months into it and I have no problems whatsoever. Delighted! It worked on the first try on my MacBook Air notebook and the installation was done in a few minutes. Didn't have to format it because it comes with HFS+ format, ideal for the MacBook. The most important feature is that this portable drive is rugged. Thank you Iomega for the dropguard feature because I tend to slip things out of my hand unwittingly. The drive is really so thin that I can pack it in my briefcase or laptop bag without much difficulty. The design and the silver color are just awesome. Goes well with my MacBook. I keep using it often and found it fluidy easy! Hearing the many instances of how even the most perfect machines go haywire, I guess this remains usable for a while longer than my earlier hard drives.
